The area on the right side of the Fetch window is the Status panel. It contains information about what Fetch is doing at any given time. If a file transfer is in progress it displays the name, format, and approximate size of the file being transferred, the amount of data that has been transferred so far, and the average speed of the transfer so far. If any of these fields are missing it is because the information is unavailable. At the bottom of the status panel there is the Cancel button (if an operation is in progress) and Fetch's version number.
